would i be able to switch where my desktop would be and put it on my tv and extend my desktop to my glass monitor that is hooked up via vga?

  2. idontuseyewtube says:

Why would you use this on a 360? It is a device to output video from a computer to a TV. Plugging this into the 360′s USB port would not give you video output.

I would buy it if it was just straight up USB to HDMI w/o having to plug in the 3.5 sound separately. The extra cable is one too many in the bedroom environment when I wanna watch a downloaded movie with my gf on bedroom tv. It’s much cheaper to go with DVI with 3.5 sound cable hookup, and you get same qual picture.

can I use it, to plug ps3 to play on mac?

yea but what about the audio, is the audio gonna sound bad?

  9. simonistic says:

seriously, s-video sucks ass. I have the exact opposite, an s-video and VGA out on my dv 6000 but no HDMI, but my LCD tv has HDMI. I still get super picture with VGA to VGA.

Don’t waste money on the s-video adapter, better to save it and get an lcd, if u don’t wanna spend alot of money get a smaller LCD with 720 p HD ready picture.

This is ok but they need to make it usb to svideo for people that have older tvs. My new laptop has a hdmi port but it doesn’t have a svideo port and so I can’t watch stuf off my computer on my tv. And yes I know I need a new tv but this works really well and is only 5 years old and I don’t need to run out and spend money to replace something that stil works. I just need a adaptor so I can run it to my old TV..

$179 for this device is a waste of money. For this you can simplify buy a VGA cable and connect both your pc to TV. All flat screen TV’s have VGA port or pc link port to connect to TV and the quality is as good as HDMI

  18. ironeagle69 says:

  19. Talool1 says:

  23. jonniconniz says:

    Yea fuckin hilarious

  24. emuman4evr says:

That doesn’t work with HDMI/DVI. There are ethernet extenders however.

  25. z1pfL says:

yeah, but its a normal cable, what is soo special, why is the price thjat high????
simply make ur own if u want a longer cable, then buy a short and just take the plugs/ends and wire them with a loooonger wire!
