Apple is really committed to this new, just iPad name. When I went looking for all those iPad 2 TV ads on YouTube today to see if there is any noticeable difference in how the display looks at 1080P when viewed on YouTube, I came up empty-handed.

The annual selling of the old iPad and buying of the new iPad has turned into a tradition for many tech enthusiasts, including our editor Josh Smith. Last summer the Apple rumor mill was mostly concerned with the hoped-for iPhone 5, but there was also some buzz about 1080p movies finally coming to iTunes . Unnamed sources pegged iTunes HD+ content for “later this year” and some speculated it would come with the release of iOS 5 or a new Apple TV without the 720p limitation. None of this happened, though
