My friend bought the $500 NV59 Gateway laptop at Bestbuy. Its specs show core i3, but its actually an i5 its also packing a Blue ray player 4 gigs of ram and pre-installed Bestbuy Geeksquade crap 
Pros: -Price -Screen -CPU -RAM Cons: -cheap piece of crap -weight -battery life -touch pad
