To give more focus on core products, Google is planning to merge, open-source, or phase out some of its products – GMC, Google Sky Map, Needlebase, Picnik, Social Graph API, Urchin in the coming months. Google will open-source Sky Map, close Picnik, Social Graph API and Urchin.
