I already have the website built and I have a php based template I’d like to use for the “store” part of this site. What do I do with this php template? Tell me what kind of editor, etc. that I need and then how I can take the template from the form it comes in to being present and operating as a part of my site. PLEASE!!

Thanks!

Sounds like you’re in over your head. What I’d do is go to freehostia.com. Sign up for a free account. Then they have a section called “Elephante Scripts.” Choose to install OScommerce. It’ll happen automatically. Then you have your php template ready to go. If you already own a domain name, you can attach it to your free freehostia.com site for free. Problem solved.

the templates are usually made so that you can configure them on first access, you should upload it to a server with php and just load the index page and see.
it sould configure the databases and etc by itself.
