I have been running XP in safe mode the entire time and cannot connect to the net from my own PC since the BSoD. I want to switch to Win7 because I'm tired of XP and Vista isn't pleasing to use, so my question is: do I need to reformat my hard drive (if so please tell me how) or can I simply insert the disk while running XP in safe mode? I upgraded from xp to vista, then from vista to 7. Was pretty nice cause I didn't have to reinstall any software and the upgrade did all the work for me. Or you could do what I did on my work laptop.
