  6. LameJanee says:

oh my goodness! look at 5:13, the camera and the actual box! woah it has a really big lens!!

  7. LameJanee says:

i was just reading up about that, but all i could find was that running on one battery, you can take up to 340 pictures x

  8. LameJanee says:

@mamaspolo it depends if you want HD video recording or not, which is one of the features of the Panasonic Lumix Ft1.
However, the Olympus is up to 10m waterproof and shockproof to 3 m, which is greater than the Panasonic Lumix which can only go up to 3 m waterproof and 1.5 m shockproof.
For my birthday Im receiving a Panasonic Lumix Ft1, which I’m very excited about!! Because it is the only compact camera to have AVCHD recording :)
so it depends on what you prefer, hope that helped x

  14. eza27 says:

What the hell is with the music at 6:50? I cant even hear what he is saying!

  15. nakata70 says:

No I think it is for all versions. It has nothing to do with overheating or memory card sizes since SDHC cards now go right up to 32GB. It is indeed a fact that if a camera records more than 15 mins of HD video it’s classified as having camcorder functionalities and thus levies more taxes.

  16. h15n1man says:

That is for the non-North American version isn’t it???

  17. lartrak says:

It may have something to do with heat tolerances, or other considerations. The early DSLRs with HD video overheat if you record with them too long.

They may also wish to not have the camera compete *too* well with their camcorder lines.

  18. ideap says:

this camera is cool~i hope i can get myself one

  19. Sili040404040404040 says:

the cam had a ski mode i think you can use it in snow i want to know that with the temparature too

  20. willdude07 says:

Also can you put in in a BUBBLE bath

  21. willdude07 says:

Can you use it in snow or is there a certain temperature it cant go below

  22. ElisFilms says:

yeh works fine with my macbook

  23. MickWiser says:

I really doubt that is why. It’s probably because a 15 min HD video file is so big that it has trouble handling anything larger on a memory card – as opposed to tape, which is practically endless.

  24. slowore says:

does this camera work with Mac?

  25. DreadlockDrummer says:

rofl “is reminicent or reinforced armor”
