Sure is, it’s a laptop hd-burner, I got it from the fleabay for $49.00 and got an enclosure there too.

I plan to use it as just a dvd player/burner for my mini 9, and my aspire one when I go mobile with them.

its a toshiba sd-l902a. I still can’t believe people are still trying to sell them for $500.00, Especially since HD-DVD went the way of the Dodo.

Well that’s cool that you were able to assemble your own slimline USB-powered drive from an internal laptop part and an enclosure, but that’s a *little* different than a regular retail packaged drive that anyone can pick up at any major computer store. The Samsung was the first drive of its type I’d seen at retail.
