What is a recipe for a homemade birthday cake my cat can eat?

On March 19, 2010, in Uncategorized, by admin

My cat came to live with us about a year ago, he was a stray and we took him in. The vet guessed that he was about three years old, and he is a really picky eater! I want to give him a special birthday. Can anyone give me a simple recipe for a cake my cat can eat and will like?

I would make it a meatloaf out of canned cat food, egg and bread crumbs, maybe bake it if you want that smell in your house! and frost it with chicken gravy and stick a candle in for photos. Don’t light it! Maybe a muffin sized portion, and remember it counts toward their food for the day, esp if you have a fat cat!

He’s already getting a special birthday because he has an owner who loves him.

He’s not really going to notice that you’ve shaped something into a cake for him. Just give him whatever his favorite food treat is, play with him, talk to him, and cuddle him. He’ll be very happy.

Well, I don’t own a cat, but for my dog’s birthday we mixed up some dog food x3 Blech!

You should probably start with a normal cake mix you have. Some flour, water or milk, eggs?, and then some chopped up other stuff. Cat food, cat treats, and maybe some Tuna like suggested.
