I want to know the average warranty length of dell and acer. I am asking because my computer which is an acer is having issues with the cd drive not opening and customer support told me it will cost 190.00 to repair and i have only had the computer for not even 2 years and they said my warranty is up? So what is the warranty length of dell computers? Btw anyone who is looking to buy a new computer don’t buy a acer its nothing but crap!

Normal is 1 year with the option to pay extra for longer.
MY emachines has 2 years warranty.

It’s cheaper to replace your drive..
Brand new dvd drive is like $25
You can get it installed by someone at a small computer shop for like $20 probably.(or yourself for free)
Average warrenty is usually one year.
You knowthat computer must be on in order to open drive door?
